Taihan wins U.S. power cable contract that could be worth $65 million over 3 years

South Korea’s Taihan Cable & Solution Co. has secured a new Taihan Cable U.S. power cable contract through its U.S. subsidiary, TE USA. The agreement supports power infrastructure projects in the western United States and strengthens the company’s regional footprint.

Growing U.S. Market Presence

Taihan will supply power cables valued at approximately $21.8 million annually over a three-year period. As a result, the total contract value highlights steady growth in the North American power cable market.

Earlier this year, Taihan secured another major supply project. Combined, the company has reached $54.5 million in U.S. contracts, marking its highest annual total since entering the market.

Supporting Infrastructure Demand

The Taihan Cable U.S. power cable contract reflects rising demand for grid expansion and energy infrastructure upgrades. By expanding its presence in the U.S., Taihan continues to position itself as a competitive supplier in global cable markets.
