Klüber Lubrication Acquires TRAXIT International and Strengthens Wire Drawing Lubricant Portfolio

Klüber Lubrication München SE & Co. KG has acquired TRAXIT International GmbH, including its TRAXIT North America operations. Through this transaction, the TRAXIT Group now operates as part of the Klüber Lubrication Group, expanding Klüber’s global presence in the wire drawing lubricant market.

TRAXIT’s Global Wire Drawing Lubricant Business

Headquartered in Schwelm, GermanyTRAXIT supplies the wire drawing industry with a complete range of lubricants for virtually all wire applications. The company operates manufacturing sites in GermanyChina, and the United States, and supports customers through subsidiaries, agents, and representatives in more than 150 countries worldwide.

By joining Klüber Lubrication, TRAXIT gains additional resources and technical capabilities to support global wire producers and processors.

Ongoing TRAXIT Management and Operations

TRAXIT will continue to manage its day-to-day business operations and maintain responsibility for operative decisions. The company will also keep its corporate headquarters in Schwelm, ensuring continuity for customers, partners, and employees.

Both organizations are currently reviewing strategic and operational synergies. They plan to examine, prioritize, and then implement these opportunities to enhance product offerings, service levels, and long-term growth.
