Call issued for 2024 applications for WAI Chapter Scholarship programs

The Wire Association International (WAI) chapter scholarships provide valuable financial support to students connected to chapter members. The New England, Southeast, and Midwest chapters each offer scholarship programs for eligible applicants.

WAI Chapter Scholarships Support Student Success

These scholarship programs help students pursue higher education while strengthening connections within the wire and cable industry. They specifically support the sons and daughters of chapter members.

In 2023, the New England Chapter awarded six scholarships of $2,500 each. Meanwhile, the Southeast Chapter granted four scholarships of $1,800 each, and the Midwest Chapter awarded three scholarships of $1,500 each.

Flexible Programs Backed by Industry Support

Each chapter designs its scholarship program with flexibility in mind. As a result, applicants benefit from accessible requirements and broad eligibility.

Chapters fund these programs through industry events, with strong support from event sponsors and chapter members. Their contributions continue to sustain and expand these opportunities.
