The WAI Midwest Chapter created a scholarship program to expand access to higher education. The program, administered by The Wire Foundation (https://www.wirefoundation.org/), supports academically qualified students connected to WAI members.
Eligible applicants include high school seniors and college students who are children, grandchildren, or dependents of WAI Midwest Chapter members in good standing.
Reinforcing the Value of Higher Education
The Chapter launched this initiative to highlight the importance of continued education. In addition, it provides members with a meaningful benefit that supports their families and future workforce development within the wire and cable industry.
2026 Scholarship Recipients
The WAI Midwest Chapter recognized several outstanding students as scholarship recipients:
Mia Robillard, daughter of Brad Robillard, owner of Elk Technologies, attends The Ohio State University (https://www.osu.edu/). She is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.
Hailey Walker, daughter of Robert Sears (Retired) of BS Wire, attends the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (https://illinois.edu/). She is pursuing a degree in English.
Amy Skolozynski, daughter of Stephen Skolozynski, general manager of Master Spring & Wire Form Co. (https://www.masterspring.com/), attends the University of Iowa (https://uiowa.edu/). She is pursuing a degree in English and creative writing.
