The Wire Association International (WAI) will host Wire Expo 2024 at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, on June 11–12, 2024. The event will feature two industry-leading keynote speakers. Together, they will address innovation, operational excellence, and the future of wire manufacturing.
Wire Expo 2024 Keynote Speakers Announced
WAI has confirmed two keynote speakers for Wire Expo 2024. Each brings extensive experience in the wire and cable industry.
First, on June 11, H.O. Woltz III, Chairman, President, and CEO of Insteel, will present his keynote. His talk focuses on continuous improvement and a passion for manufacturing. In addition, he will share insights on current challenges and opportunities in the ferrous wire industry. He draws from more than 45 years of experience, including over 30 years as CEO.
WAI will also recognize Woltz as the 2024 recipient of the WAI Champion’s Award. This honor highlights his long-standing industry leadership and support of the association.
Focus on Manufacturing Excellence
Next, on June 12, Paul Furtado, COO of Prysmian North America, will deliver his keynote on manufacturing excellence. Specifically, he will explain how the Prysmian Operating System (POS) improves operational efficiency.
Moreover, Furtado will outline strategies that strengthen employee engagement and improve organizational transparency. He will also show how teams can align business objectives and apply core manufacturing principles. As a result, organizations can maximize performance and drive continuous improvement.
Industry Leadership and Innovation
According to WAI Executive Director Steven Fetteroll, these keynote sessions bring valuable insight. He emphasized their focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Additionally, he noted that these themes align with the broader conference program.
