Session One: PCD Wire Die Fundamentals
The first session, “Differentiating High-Quality PCD Wire Dies,” will take place on September 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. CST.
During this session, experts will explain carbide and PCD (polycrystalline diamond) fundamentals. They will also address common issues such as EDM cutting problems and cracking. In addition, attendees will learn how to identify defects, use a practical evaluation checklist, and review the latest PCD material innovations.
Session Two: Carbide Wire Die Performance
The second session, “Key Differentiators in Carbide Wire Dies,” will take place on September 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. CST.
This session will focus on carbide die materials and include an interactive discussion. Topics will cover casing issues, breakage, cavities, and surface scratches. Participants will also review a quality assessment checklist, explore testing methods, and understand relevant certifications and technology advancements.
