WAI Scholarship Program Supports Students in 2021
Chapter President Chris McGill of Southwire (https://www.southwire.com) emphasized the importance of maintaining support for students:
“As we come out of an uncertain time in 2020, the Southeast Board of Directors is excited to announce that the scholarship program will continue in 2021. We know there are deserving students in our community that could use the stability of this program to help them advance to the next level in their educational goals.”
Golf Tournament Drives Scholarship Funding
The annual golf tournament remains a key contributor to the college scholarship program. The 2019 event, held at Rock Barn Country Club in Conover, North Carolina (https://www.rockbarn.com), delivered strong results and high participation.
Board members actively supported the event by serving as emcees, placing 40 sponsorship signs, managing the putting contest, capturing event photos, and ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
