The Wire Association International (WAI) successfully hosted its Monterrey technical conference and Suppliers Market 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel from November 13–15. This event marked the fourth time WAI has held the conference in Monterrey, Mexico, continuing its strong regional engagement.

The WAI Monterrey technical conference and Suppliers Market 2023 delivered high-quality educational sessions and strong industry participation. According to WAI Past President Antonio Ayala, attendees experienced informative presentations, engaging exhibits, and valuable networking opportunities.
Technical Sessions and Industry Panel
On November 13 and 14, the conference featured 16 technical presentations. The program opened with a panel discussion focused on industry challenges and opportunities.

On November 15, attendees toured the Viakable plant, where they observed continuous casting operations and visited the company’s Technical Center.
In addition, participants attended a welcome dinner featuring live music, which encouraged networking and industry discussion in a relaxed setting.
