WAI Sales Director Robert Xeller to retire after a long career with the Association

Bob Xeller Retirement WAI Career Highlights

Bob Xeller will retire as a full-time employee at the end of December. However, he will continue in a limited role through Wire Expo 2022 in Dallas.

He began his career with IBM (https://www.ibm.com) after earning a business degree from Wittenberg University. Later, he supported WAI’s transition to computerized systems. As a result, he became deeply involved in the Association’s operations.

Leadership in Interwire and Wire Expo

Xeller played a key role in organizing Interwire and Wire Expo. In 2001, he became Director of Sales. From then on, he remained a familiar presence on the trade show floor.

In addition, colleagues valued his reliability and industry knowledge. Many also appreciated his ability to build strong relationships.

Industry Recognition and Legacy

Industry peers consistently recognized Xeller’s experience and leadership. When challenges arose, he responded with confidence and clear solutions. Therefore, he earned lasting respect across the industry.

Looking Ahead

Xeller now plans to spend more time with his family. At the same time, he will remain connected to the industry in a limited capacity.
