Shannon Timme WAI Sales Director Role
Shannon Timme will step into the Sales Director role, succeeding Bob Xeller as he transitions toward retirement after Wire Expo 2022.
Timme joined WAI in 2017 as Sales Manager. Since then, she has driven improvements across multiple areas, including social media strategy, cross-marketing efforts, and website enhancements on https://www.wirenet.org. In addition, she launched a WAI newsletter and expanded sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
Experience and Industry Contributions
Before joining WAI, Timme worked at Shore Publishing (https://www.zip06.com) as a senior multimedia specialist and advertising account manager. She also served as a key liaison to the WAI New England Chapter, strengthening member engagement.
Supporting Interwire and Wire Expo Growth
In her new role, Timme will lead efforts to enhance Interwire and Wire Expo, ensuring both events continue to deliver value for the wire and cable industry.
