Avery Caraker, a process engineering technician at Prysmian Group (https://www.prysmiangroup.com) in Du Quoin, Illinois, has earned the Wire Link Traveling Scholarship 2024.
Wire Link Traveling Scholarship 2024 Supports Industry Development
This award highlights emerging talent in the wire and cable industry. Caraker joined Prysmian as an intern in 2021 and transitioned to a full-time role in 2022 after completing his electrical engineering degree.
He also serves as a member of the Illinois Army National Guard, balancing professional and service commitments.
Industry Experience at wire Düsseldorf
As part of the scholarship, Caraker will attend wire Düsseldorf, a leading global trade event for the wire and cable sector. He will also contribute a report for the Wire Journal International (WJI) June issue, sharing insights from his experience.
