WAI New England Chapter Annual Meeting Returns to Mohegan Sun in 2026

The WAI New England Chapter will host its 2026 Annual Meeting at the Cabaret Theatre at Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut, on Thursday, January 29, 2026. This regional event brings together wire and cable industry professionals for networking, education, and fundraising.

Event Highlights and Registration Details

Attendees will enjoy a full evening program that includes dinner, the introduction of 2026 chapter officers, a raffle, a photo booth, and a recap of the chapter’s 2025 milestones. The event also supports the WAI New England Chapter Scholarship Fund.

31st Annual Golf Outing Success

The chapter recently hosted its 31st Annual Golf Outing at Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, Connecticut. A total of 143 golfers participated in ideal conditions. The Lloyd & Bouvier team—Michael Tucker, Darren Tucker, Joe Yabba, and Gibson Yabba—secured the win with an impressive score of 15 under par.

Proceeds from the outing directly funded the chapter’s scholarship program.

The WAI New England Chapter awarded six $2,500 scholarships to outstanding recipients:

Dr. John Sviokla will headline the event as guest speaker. As an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School, Dr. Sviokla leads global discussions on AI and digital transformation. He will explain how organizations can shift from human-only decision-making to a hybrid model that combines human expertise with AI-driven intelligence.
