Neelkanth Expands Cable Manufacturing into the UAE

Strengthening Presence Beyond Africa

Founded inย 2015ย and headquartered inย Zambia, Neelkanth Cables has built a strong reputation across Southern, Central, and Eastern Africa. The company continues to expand across new regions by leveraging its leading role in the domestic cable market.

According to the company, Neelkanth now holdsย over 50% of Zambiaโ€™s market shareย in low- and medium-voltage cables. The new Dubai site allows the company to serve broader international markets while strengthening logistics and export capabilities.

Expanding Production Capacity for Key Sectors

The new facility employs aroundย 200 staffย and can produce up toย 13,000 metric tons of copper cableย andย 7,000 metric tons of aluminum cableย each year. The plant will supply several industries, includingย power transmission, oil and gas, construction, infrastructure, steel, cement, and mining.
