Expanding Production Capacity in North America

The new plant produces up to 3,000 tons of steel wire elevator rope annually. Gustav Wolf acquired the facility from Brugg and plans to increase capacity as demand grows.

With this expansion, the company now operates six rope production plants across three continents. This global footprint allows Gustav Wolf to serve customers more efficiently and strengthen its market presence.

Faster Delivery and Market Growth

The Gustav Wolf USA factory enables faster delivery across North America. The company aims to supply premium products within 24 hours, improving service for customers worldwide.

Gustav Wolf identified the U.S. as a key growth market. Therefore, it invested in local manufacturing to support elevator industry demand and regional expansion.

Investment, Jobs, and Future Plans

The company plans to install additional equipment and hire up to 30 employees at the Georgia site. It also targets $12.3 million in revenue from the facility.

This investment supports local job creation while helping the company grow alongside its customers. Gustav Wolf continues to focus on long-term international expansion.

Broad Product Portfolio Beyond Wire Rope

Gustav Wolf also produces tire wire for leading manufacturers such as GoodyearContinentalBridgestone, and Pirelli. This diversified portfolio strengthens its position in the global wire industry.

The new U.S. factory will primarily serve American elevator manufacturers, ensuring high-quality production tailored to regional needs.
