Project Overview and Capacity

Hanwhaโ€ฏEngineeringโ€ฏ&โ€ฏConstructionย leads the 400โ€ฏMW offshore project located nearย Uiโ€‘Doโ€ฏIslandย inย Sinanโ€ฏCounty, Southโ€ฏJeollaโ€ฏProvince. Once operational, the wind farm will generateย over three timesย the capacity of all current Korean offshore wind farms combined.

The contract, estimated atย USโ€ฏ$79โ€ฏmillion, includes designing, producing, and installing all subsea power cables needed for construction. LSโ€ฏCableโ€ฏ&โ€ฏSystem expects to deliver the cables in theย second half ofโ€ฏ2025, and the wind farm should finish construction inย 2026.
