HanwhaโฏEngineeringโฏ&โฏConstructionย leads the 400โฏMW offshore project located nearย UiโDoโฏIslandย inย SinanโฏCounty, SouthโฏJeollaโฏProvince. Once operational, the wind farm will generateย over three timesย the capacity of all current Korean offshore wind farms combined.
The contract, estimated atย USโฏ$79โฏmillion, includes designing, producing, and installing all subsea power cables needed for construction. LSโฏCableโฏ&โฏSystem expects to deliver the cables in theย second half ofโฏ2025, and the wind farm should finish construction inย 2026.
