Madem Reels Group, a global manufacturer of wooden reels, plans to open aย new manufacturing, assembly, and distribution plant in Denton, Texas. This expansion strengthens the companyโs footprint in North America and reinforces its commitment to better serving regional customers.
The project, managed byย MademโMoorecraft Reels USA, Inc., follows the success of Mademโs first U.S. plant inย North Carolina. According to Presidentย Marcos Ramalho, the new facility highlights Madem Groupโs focus on innovation and local supply chain excellence.
Creating Jobs and Increasing Production Capacity
Operations at the Denton facility will begin inย phases throughout 2022. Assembly and distribution start in theย second quarter, while manufacturing begins in theย fourth quarter. The company invested inย stateโofโtheโart CNC production linesย to ensure precision and efficiency.
Vice President of Salesย Steve Redhageย said the new plant marks another step in Mademโs growth strategy. โThis facility demonstrates our commitment to expand production capacity and strengthen the North American distribution network,โ he noted.
The Denton site will create aroundย 100 jobs. Once fully operational, it will produce more thanย 1,200 truckloads of KD reel kits each year, supporting faster delivery and stronger regional service.
