Madem Reels Expands Middle East Operations with New Saudi Arabia Plant

Madem Reels Groupย (official site)ย has launched the newย Madem Reels Saudi Arabia plantย in Jeddah, expanding its footprint in the Middle East. Operated byย Madem Gulf Industries โ€“ Bahrain, this state-of-the-art manufacturing, assembly, and distribution facility strengthens the companyโ€™s commitment to serving regional customers more efficiently.

Strengthening Presence in the Middle East

This new Jeddah site marks Madem Reelsโ€™ second manufacturing facility in the region, following its first plant inย Askar, Bahrain. Operations will roll out in two phases. Assembly and distribution are set to begin in theย third or fourth quarter of 2023, whileย manufacturingย will start during theย first half of 2024.

Advanced Manufacturing Capacity

The companyโ€™s initial investment includesย fully automated wooden drum CNC lines, reflecting Mademโ€™s focus on innovation and efficiency. The plant expects to produceย over 1,000 truckloads of KD reel kits each yearย and will createย more than 100 new jobsย in Saudi Arabia.

Aligned with Vision 2030

General Managerย Alexandre Monte Mezzoย said the expansion aligns with Mademโ€™s values and long-term commitment to its customers. โ€œThe new plant in Saudi Arabia plays a vital role in our continuous evolution,โ€ he explained. โ€œIt supports the Kingdomโ€™s national development goals and increases our production and delivery capacity across the Gulf, Arab, and North African markets.โ€

Meanwhile,ย Adel Abdulla Mohammed Janahi, General Manager of Sales, emphasized the projectโ€™s alignment withย Saudi Vision 2030. โ€œOpening a second branch within the GCC shows our strong commitment to serving the growing demands of customers, especially in the rapidly expanding Saudi market,โ€ he noted. โ€œWith cutting-edge automation, this facility will maximize capacity and improve productivity across the region.โ€
