Messe Düsseldorf sets new date for wire Düsseldorf 2022

wire and Tube Düsseldorf 2022 Move to June

The organizers of wire Düsseldorf and Tube Düsseldorf (visit wire & Tube) set new 2022 dates for the shows. wire and Tube Düsseldorf 2022 will now take place from 20–24 June, instead of the previously rescheduled slot of 9–13 May.

They chose the new timing to respond to changing health conditions and to give exhibitors and visitors more planning security.

Why wire and Tube Düsseldorf 2022 Shifted Dates

According to organizer Messe Düsseldorf (visit Messe Düsseldorf), rapidly rising Omicron cases and dynamic infection patterns triggered the latest date change. The team believes early summer offers better prospects for successful events, with calmer infection trends and easier international travel.

Exhibitors made it clear: they want and need wire and Tube, but they prefer dates that promise stronger participation and business results.

Focus on Safety, Planning, and a Strong Live Experience

Messe Düsseldorf CEO Wolfram N. Diener explained that early summer should allow more people to enter Germany and attend in person. This timing helps exhibitors and visitors conduct business in an environment less affected by Covid‑19 measures.

Division manager Bernd Jablonowski added that planning security remains the top priority. By moving the shows to June, the organizers aim to deliver a secure, in‑person trade fair experience that fits the current situation.

Industry Support and Concurrent METAV Trade Fair

Project director Daniel Ryfisch thanked exhibitors and partners for their flexibility and support. He emphasized the shared goal of making wire and Tube from 20–24 June the industry’s key events in Düsseldorf, as they have been for more than 30 years.
