New England Chapter reports names of 6 scholarship winners for 2022

Theย IWCS 2022 scholarship winnersย highlight the industryโ€™s next generation of innovators and leaders. Theย International Wire & Cable Symposium (IWCS)ย awarded six talented students withย $2,500 scholarshipsย for their academic achievements and close ties to the wire and cable sector.

IWCS 2022 Scholarship Recipients

Alyssa Hicksย โ€” Daughter ofย William Jason Hicks, technical support engineer atย Gem Gravure Co., Inc.. Alyssa attendsย Jacksonville State University, majoring inย Family and Consumer Sciences.

Owen LaRossย โ€” Son ofย Michael LaRoss, corporate controller atย Whitney Blake Co.. Owen studies atย Merrimack College, where he is currentlyย undeclared.

Timothy McComiskeyย โ€” Son ofย Thomas McComiskey, vice president of engineering atย MGS Group. Timothy attends theย University of Rhode Island, majoring inย Pharmacy.

Andrew Personย โ€” Son ofย Kim Person, purchasing department atย Insulated Wire Inc.. Andrew studiesย Biologyย atย SUNY College at Oneonta.

Ashley Potvinย โ€” Granddaughter ofย Kenneth Potvin, vice president of sales atย Teknikor. Ashley attendsย Quinnipiac University, majoring inย Public Relations.

Aidan Tomazย โ€” Grandson ofย John Tomaz, vice president atย Wardwell Braiding Machine Co.. Aidan plans to attendย Louisville University, where he will major inย Sports Management.
