Prysmian reports organization changes

Prysmian Group New Organizational Structure Supports Future Goals

Prysmian Groupย (prysmian.com) has introduced aย new organizational structureย to support its mid-term ambitions and protect its long-term leadership. The company wants to react faster to market changes, stay closer to customers, and better support energy transition and digitalization projects.

Four New Global Business Segments

Theย Prysmian Group new organizational structureย centers on four business segments, each with a dedicated leader:

  • Transmissionย โ€“ led byย Hakan Ozmen

  • Power Gridsย โ€“ led byย Cinzia Farisรจ

  • Electrificationย โ€“ led byย Cristiana Scelza

  • Digital Solutionsย โ€“ led byย Frederick Persson

These segments create clearer accountability. They also allow Prysmian to focus more sharply on grid upgrades, electrification, and digital connectivity solutions.

Matrix Model and One-Company Governance

Prysmian keeps itsย matrix organization, which combines global segments with strongย regional and country teams. This approach keeps the business close to local markets and customers. At the same time, it builds strongerย continental and global synergies.

In addition, group functions strengthenย โ€œone companyโ€ governance. They align strategy, processes, and culture so that customers experience Prysmian as a single, coordinated partner across all segments and regions.

Regional Leadership Updates and New Corporate Role

To match the new structure, Prysmian has refreshed several regional leadership roles:

  • Sezgin Islamogluย becomes CEO ofย Central East Europe.

  • Erkan Aydogduย leadsย Middle East, Turkey, India, Africa, and Russiaย and also serves as CEO ofย Oman Cables Industry (OCI) Groupย (omancables.com).

  • Hamavand Shroffย takes the CEO role forย Oceania and South East Asia.

  • Raul Gilย takes responsibility forย Latin America.

At the group level,ย Maria Cristina Bifulcoย becomesย Chief Investor Relations, Sustainability and Communication Officer, combining investor relations, ESG, and communications into one aligned function.

Talent, Culture, and Sustainable Growth

Designated CEOย Massimo Battainiย stressed that people remain at the heart of Prysmianโ€™s plans. He pointed out that โ€œgood, authentic and passionate people make the difference and build companies solid and successful.โ€ With a strong pipeline of talent, he expects theย Prysmian Group new organizational structureย to support sustainable growth and to strengthen the company as a unified, global community.
