Southwire Acquisition of Genesis Wire & Cable Strengthens Product Line

Southwire Company, LLCย has reached an agreement withย Resideo Technologies, Inc.ย to purchaseย Genesis Wire & Cable, a leading low-voltage wire and cable manufacturer based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Theย Southwire acquisition of Genesis Wire & Cableย expands Southwireโ€™s portfolio and enhances its position in the growing low-voltage market.

The transaction should close within the next 30 days, pending standard conditions. Genesis employs 187 people. The company manufactures about 70% of its products in-house and sources the remaining 30% from third-party suppliers.
