Alleima Ultra-Fine Medical Wire Order Fuels Growth

Alleimaย has secured a majorย ultra-fine wire orderย in itsย medical customer segmentย worth aboutย $33.5 million. The company booked the order in theย fourth quarter of 2022, and deliveries will ramp up throughย 2023ย within theย Kanthal division.

Ultra-Fine Wire Backs Remote Patient Monitoring

Gary Davies, head of theย medical business unitย in the Kanthal division, explained that customers will use the ultra-fine wire forย remote patient monitoring. This segment is growing quickly as healthcare providers look for more continuous, realโ€‘time data outside traditional clinical settings.

He noted that the order stems from theย commercialization of a new productย that offersย leading-edge technologyย andย high accuracy, both critical for reliable monitoring solutions and precise medical measurements.
