Streamcast Success Guides 2021 Planning
The Streamcast program, held on July 15, 2020, marked WAI’s first large-scale virtual event. The program featured 12 industry speakers and attracted more than 400 registrations, with over 250 active participants. This strong engagement set a new benchmark for WAI online events and now serves as a model for future programming.
Leadership Updates and Board Growth
The chapter continues to strengthen its leadership team. Jessica Foss, market development manager at Electric Cable Compounds, Inc. (https://www.electriccablecompounds.com), joined as treasurer.
The board also appointed two new members:
- Sean DeZalia, process engineer at EIS Wire & Cable (https://www.eiswire.com)
- Jason Ponce, product development engineer at Harbour Industries (https://www.harbourind.com)
Notably, more than half of the board members are under 40, reflecting strong industry engagement from the next generation of professionals.
Established Leadership in the Wire Industry
Founded in 1994, the New England Chapter remains the oldest and largest of WAI’s nine chapters. The chapter continues to lead with innovative programming and active member involvement.
