WAI has launched a new ferrous testing course in its Education Center, expanding digital training for wire manufacturing professionals.

Registration is now open for Wire Expo 2026, taking place May 5โ7 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. The event will unite wire and cable manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders for integrated education sessions, live exhibits, and high-value networking opportunities designed to accelerate progress across the industry.

The deadline for WAI chapter scholarship applications for 2026 is March 31. Scholarships are available through the Midwest, New England, Southeast, and Ohio Valley chapters for academically qualified high school seniors who are children, grandchildren, or dependents of WAI members in good standing.

The WAI New England Chapter held its 31st Annual Meeting and Dinner at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Members gathered for networking, industry discussion, and an AI-focused keynote from Dr. John Sviokla. The event also recognized new leadership and highlighted the chapterโs scholarship program.
