The Wire Expo 2024 points meeting marks the next step as the Wire Association International (WAI) prepares for the 2024 WAI Operations Summit & Wire Expo.
Event Overview
WAI will host Wire Expo 2024 on June 11–12, 2024, at the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. The association previously hosted a successful event at this venue in 2016 and planned a return in 2020 before COVID-19 disrupted those plans.
Points Meeting and Exhibitor Requirements
The points meeting, scheduled for October 11, will determine the order in which exhibitors select booth space. Companies must remain in good standing and submit a completed contract with full payment to participate.
WAI calculates exhibitor points based on years of participation, booth size, and consistency of exhibiting at Wire Expo and Interwire events. Exhibitors must also provide proof of insurance before attending the meeting.
Preparing for Wire Expo 2024
The previous Wire Expo show floor featured 240 companies, demonstrating strong industry participation. WAI encourages interested exhibitors to prepare early for the points meeting to secure preferred booth locations.
