The Wire Association International (WAI) Southeast Chapter golf tournament will take place on October 10 at Rock Barn Country Club & Spa in Conover, North Carolina. Members and guests can now mark their calendars and begin planning for this annual industry event.
WAI Southeast Chapter Golf Tournament Continues Annual Tradition
The WAI Southeast Chapter golf tournament continues to honor the legacy of the Vannais Outing, named after founding member and past president Stephen Vannais. The event brings together professionals from across the wire and cable industry for a day of competition and networking.
In 2023, 83 players participated in the tournament. A team from Technical Development Corp. (https://www.tdctooling.com) took first place with an impressive 14 under par finish.
Prepare for Competition and Networking
This annual event offers more than just golf. Attendees can connect with peers, strengthen relationships, and engage with others in the manufacturing and wire industry.
Players who want to compete for this year’s title should begin preparing early. Securing a spot in the tournament remains the first step toward joining the competition.
