Growing Interest Following Industry Events
Interest in WAI training courses has increased since Interwire 2026. For example, Prysmian Group (https://www.prysmiangroup.com/) enrolled 18 extrusion operators from its Colombia facility in all three available extrusion courses.
Additionally, more enrollments are expected as companies continue to invest in workforce training and development.
New Courses and Enhanced Learning Features
WAI continues to expand its education offerings. The organization is currently developing new courses, including Extrusion – Special Process Considerations and Introduction to Wire Dies.
At the same time, WAI is improving course engagement. Instructional designers are adding interactive activities and expanded quizzes to enhance learning outcomes and retention.
