WAI representatives attend ACIMAF event, discuss 2023 conference in Italy

The WAI ACIMAF Italy technical conference 2023 continues to take shape following a recent ACIMAF anniversary meeting. WAI President James York and Executive Director Steve Fetteroll attended the event, where ACIMAF celebrated its 35th anniversary and outlined plans for a return to Italy.

Industry Collaboration and Event Planning

During the meeting, leaders from <a href=”https://www.acimaf.com” target=”_blank”>ACIMAF</a> and <a href=”https://www.wirenet.org” target=”_blank”>Wire Association International</a> discussed hosting the 2023 technical conference in Milan. This collaboration builds on a 20-year partnership between the organizations and reinforces their shared focus on technical innovation in the wire and cable industry.

Logistics, Trade, and Global Expansion

In addition, industry experts delivered presentations on key business topics. Gabriele Campo of <a href=”https://www.bcube.com” target=”_blank”>BCUBE</a> discussed international logistics and emphasized the shift from product-focused to customer-focusedcustomer-focused service models.

Meanwhile, Alessia Bianchi of ITA/ICE highlighted efforts to support the global expansion of Italian companies. She noted that exporting companies often achieve stronger productivity and operational performance.

Milan Conference Details
