The Southeast Chapter announced its latest scholarship winners, awarding four students $1,800 each to support their academic goals and future careers.
Scholarship Recipients
Each recipient represents strong academic achievement and a connection to the wire and cable industry through their families.
Speros Grapsas, son of Constantine Grapsas, president of Aim Inc., will attend Tufts University. He plans to pursue a graduate degree in business administration or international business.
Meredith Hammontree, daughter of Joe Hammontree, vice president of Temple Terrace Industries, will attend Florida College, where she will study ecology.
Matthew Tucker, son of Amy Tucker, finance manager at Sonoco, will attend the University of Alabama. He will major in biology.
Brian (Trung) Vo, son of Loc Vo, senior electrical engineer at Honeywell, will attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he will pursue a degree in electrical engineering.
