WAI’s New England Chapter announces its 2023 scholarship winners

The WAI New England Chapter scholarship winners 2023 include six students who will each receive $2,500 awards. These scholarships support their academic goals and recognize strong ties to the wire and cable industry.

WAI New England Chapter Scholarship Winners 2023

The WAI New England Chapter scholarship winners 2023 represent a diverse group of students. Each plans to pursue a different field of study:

  • Kyle Albrinck, son of Alice Albrinck (Teknor Apex), will attend Thomas More University. He will major in biology.
  • Amarra Cruz, daughter of Luis Cruz (Times Microwave Systems), will attend UMass Boston. She will study sports journalism and communications.
  • Katherine Fritz, daughter of James Fritz (Marmon Industrial Energy & Infrastructure Group), will attend Quinnipiac University. She will major in radiologic sciences.
  • William Goyette, son of Richard Goyette (MassME), will attend Rochester Institute of Technology. He will study environmental science.
  • Roma Kale, daughter of Rina Patel (RSCC Wire & Cable LLC), will attend the University of Connecticut. She will major in biology and public health.
  • John Stecker, grandson of WAI Life Member and Past President David Stecker, will attend Virginia Tech University. He will study data analytics.
