Proton is based in China and manufactures laser speed gages. Beta Lasermike also offers the same.

Hallo Murat:
It would be interesting to know more about your expectations on this technology.
I have written 15 years ago my diploma thesis about this measurement instrument in cable industry.
Best regards

Yes, Lear Engineering is still in business Spectre but as far as I know, they do not manufacture or sell non-contact length measuring equipment. www.learengineering.com/
Of substantial interest to me however is what happened to TSI Incorporated of St. Paul, MN? www.tsi.com/ They came into the non-contact wire and cable length measurement business with a bang and now there is no trace of them at all in our industry.
