GEON expands Mexico/USA capabilities

GEON Performance Solutions, a global leader in performance polymer solutions, has launched a newย thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)ย manufacturing line at itsย Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexicoย facility. This investment strengthens GEONโ€™s production capacity and deepens its leadership in advanced polymer technology.

The new TPE line produces a variety of polymer compounds, including TPE and thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) materials. These products expand GEONโ€™s polymer capabilities and support its strategy to meet rising customer demand.

Moreover, this growth builds on the technology and expertise gained from GEONโ€™s 2023 acquisition of PolymaxTPE. As a result, GEON can deliver high-performance materials for an increasing number of industrial applications.

The addition of TPE production has also driven new investments at GEONโ€™s Dyersburg, Tennessee site. There, the company recently commissioned TPE and TPO lines to better serve growing customer needs.

Now, with TPE manufacturing facilities in Mexico, the United States, and Nantong, Jiangsu, China, GEON supports a simplified global supply chain. This network allows faster delivery, stronger quality control, and greater flexibility across industries.

Since opening in 2003, theย Ramos Arizpe facilityย has remained a key part of GEONโ€™s international operations. Today, with 12 production plants worldwide, GEON continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner in performance polymer solutions. Through ongoing investment and innovation, the company aims to support sustainable growth across its global network.
