LS business reports 2 recent contracts for cable that will be sent to Denmark

LS Eco Energy, led by CEOย Lee Sang-ho, has announced two new cable supply contracts in Denmark. The company will deliver high-voltage cables for aย North Sea wind farm projectย and provideย extra-high-voltage cablesย toย Energinet, Denmarkโ€™s national transmission system operator.

The first contract, worth approximatelyย $13 million, involves supplyingย 220 kV underground cablesย for theย 1 GW Thor Offshore Wind Farm, which will beย Denmarkโ€™s largest offshore wind project. Locatedย 22 kilometers off the North Sea coast, the project will enhance the regionโ€™s renewable infrastructure and is scheduled forย completion in 2027.

The second contract, valued atย $30.5 million, comes fromย Energinet, which manages Denmarkโ€™sย 400 kV national electricity and gas transmission grids. The system operator also oversees theย 132 kV, 150 kV regional networksย and theย HVDC Great Belt Power Link, connecting the nationโ€™s key energy systems.

CEOย Lee Sang-hoย noted that โ€œdemand for electric cables keeps rising worldwide due to offshore wind projects, power grid upgrades, and data center expansion.โ€ LS Eco Energy continues to strengthen its position as a trusted provider of high-performance cable solutions that support global renewable growth.
