The comprehensive review evaluated each plantโs environmental performance, worker conditions, equality practices, and community safety. The achievement highlights Essex Furukawaโs commitment to responsible manufacturing and aligns with itsย Vision 2030 sustainability initiative.
North America Presidentย Jared Rowntreeย praised the milestone, calling it a major step forward for the company and the broader magnet wire industry. Global Corporate Sustainability Managerย Austin Robinsonย also credited the teamsโ two-year effort to meet the rigorous Copper Mark standards.
Essex Furukawa began the certification journey in June 2022, becoming the first magnet wire manufacturer to achieve The Copper Mark Assurance Process. The recognition reinforces its position as a sustainability leader in the copper production sector.
