Multiple Essex Furukawa plants have okay for The Copper Mark Assurance Process

Essex Furukawaย announced that three North American facilities inย Fort Wayne,ย Franklin, andย Columbia City, Indiana have completedย The Copper Mark Assurance Process, meeting all sustainability and ethical standards.

The comprehensive review evaluated each plantโ€™s environmental performance, worker conditions, equality practices, and community safety. The achievement highlights Essex Furukawaโ€™s commitment to responsible manufacturing and aligns with itsย Vision 2030 sustainability initiative.

North America Presidentย Jared Rowntreeย praised the milestone, calling it a major step forward for the company and the broader magnet wire industry. Global Corporate Sustainability Managerย Austin Robinsonย also credited the teamsโ€™ two-year effort to meet the rigorous Copper Mark standards.

Essex Furukawa began the certification journey in June 2022, becoming the first magnet wire manufacturer to achieve The Copper Mark Assurance Process. The recognition reinforces its position as a sustainability leader in the copper production sector.
