Xignuxย (official site)ย announced aย $5.9 million investmentย to build the newย Xignux Multipak Durango plant, expanding its manufacturing capacity in northern Mexico. The project reinforces Multipakโs role as one of the countryโs leading producers ofย reels and spoolsย for the wire and cable industry.
Xignux Multipak Durango Plant Expands Manufacturing Capacity
The newย Multipakย facility will occupyย 12,000 square metersย in theย Logistics and Industrial Center of Durango, located along theย Carretera DurangoโTorreรณnย corridor. Construction is already underway, with operations expected to start inย late 2024.
This initiative shows Xignuxโs commitment to boosting domestic production capabilities while meeting growing customer needs in theย wire and cable sector.

Theย Xignux Multipak Durango plantย will generate aboutย 36 new jobsย once operational. Multipak currently employsย 295 workersย in Durango and maintains additional branches inย Monterrey, Tlaxcala, Torreรณn, andย San Luis Potosรญ.
