Prysmian Moves Forward with Encore Wire Deal

The deal still requires approval fromย Encore Wire shareholders, along with other standard regulatory conditions before closing. Prysmian stated that integration planning is progressing smoothly and that early results indicate faster synergy potential than initially expected.

According toย Prysmian Group CEO Massimo Battaini, the company remains optimistic about the $4.2 billion acquisition. During a call with analysts, Battaini explained that teams from both companies have already begun aligning strategies for a seamless Dayโ€‘One transition.

โ€œWe have started identifying key actions for immediate implementation after the deal closes,โ€ he said. โ€œThis will help capture the expectedย $140 million in synergiesย at a quicker pace than previously forecast.โ€

Encore Wire produces a broad range of copper and aluminum electrical building wires and cables. Its North American manufacturing base complements Prysmianโ€™s strong global presence in energy and telecom cable solutions. Together, the two companies will expand Prysmianโ€™s reach inย North Americaโ€™s building, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
