Reel Power acquired by StoneTree Investment Partners

StoneTree Investment Partners has acquired Reel Power International, including its Oklahoma City headquarters and manufacturing facility and its Houstonโ€‘based Marine & Energy business. Reel Power plans to leverage the new ownership to invest in technologies that enhance safety, efficiency and reliability for wire and cable handling and offshore energy customers.

StoneTree Investment Partnersย (stonetreeip.com), a Dallasโ€‘based private equity firm, has acquiredย Reel Power Internationalย (reelpower.com), a leading U.S. manufacturer of industrial equipment. The deal includes Reel Powerโ€™s headquarters and large manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, where it builds equipment for reeling, coiling, spooling, and handling wire and cable.

Reel Power CEO Joe Henry said the partnership will speed up innovation and expand the companyโ€™s capabilities. With new investments in technology, Reel Power plans to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability in daily operations. Henry added that the companyโ€™s collaborative approach has built lasting relationships across the wire and cable, medical, consumer, and energy markets.

Reel Power Industrial (RPI) will continue operating from its Oklahoma City site to ensure consistent service for existing customers. The acquisition also covers Reel Power Marine & Energy, based in Houston, Texas, which supports offshore and energy applications with specialized handling and deployment equipment.

The acquisition strengthens StoneTree Investment Partnersโ€™ industrial portfolio and provides Reel Power with resources to expand product lines and enter new markets. Both companies remain focused on innovation, reliability, and longโ€‘term growth.
