The operator said the program will increase capacity on key regional corridors and add route diversity via additional landing points, while reinforcing domestic backbones connecting Jakarta, Batam and other metropolitan areas. Telkom did not disclose investment figures or a detailed timeline, indicating projects will roll out in phases alongside permitting and partner alignment. Its international subsidiary, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), is expected to play a central role in execution and consortium participation.
