Batch Acid Regeneration

Acid regeneration is used to recover usable acid from a cleaning process after removing metals such as iron. This process is widely used with sulfuric acid cleaning lines to remove iron to allow for continued use of the sulfuric acid. The spent acid is chilled so that a ferrous sulfate crystal is created, removed and the acid returned for continued use.
