Rod Mill

1) A mill that produces rod. It can be a billet rolling operation or an integral part of a continuous casting facility. 2) In the steel industry, it can be a mill for fine grinding, somewhat similar to the ball mill, but employing long steel rods instead of balls as the grinding medium.
