New England Chapter 2021 Recap Highlights
The chapter maintained strong momentum throughout 2021. It hosted an educational webinar focused on post-pandemic legal issues for employers. In addition, the scholarship program awarded five students and plans to expand further.
The annual golf tournament also saw increased attendance and sponsorships compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the chapter updated its bylaws to improve governance and support future leadership.
Leadership Reflection and Member Engagement
Accorsi emphasized the importance of member engagement and volunteer leadership. He noted that members have shown growing interest in returning to in-person events as conditions improve.
Looking Ahead to 2022 Events
The chapter will host its 2022 annual meeting on February 24 at Mohegan Sun Casino. During the event, WAI will introduce new officers and outline upcoming initiatives.
