WAI Education Committee Members to Lead Expanding Programs in 2026

WAI’s education program continues to expand in 2026, and the Education Committee will help guide that growth. Matt Miles chairs the committee, with Erik Perks serving as vice chair. Members represent leading wire and cable companies, suppliers, and universities across the industry.

The Wire Association International (WAI) (https://wirenet.org) continues to expand its education program in 2026. As a result, the Education Committee plays a larger role in shaping training initiatives and supporting industry-wide learning.

This group helps guide WAI’s educational strategy while ensuring that programs align with current wire and cable industry needs.

Leadership and Committee Structure

Matt Miles of Southwire Company (https://www.southwire.com) leads the committee as chair. Erik Perks of Prysmian Group (https://www.prysmiangroup.com) serves as vice chair. Together, they bring strong leadership and industry expertise to WAI’s growing education efforts.
