Taihan Electric Wire Pinestone Sale Strengthens Core Focus

The Taihan Electric Wire Pinestone sale marks a strategic move as Taihan Electric Wire Co. divests noncore assets to improve profitability. Its subsidiary, Consus Muju Pinestone PF Real Estate, sold Pinestone Country Club for 78 billion won ($73.4 million).

Details of the Pinestone Country Club Sale

The company’s real estate investment fund finalized the sale of the 680,000-square-meter site in Dangjin, South Chungcheong ProvinceTongyang Leisure and Line Industry acquired the property, which includes a golf course and supporting facilities.

Pinestone Resort, built in 2006, operates under full ownership of the subsidiary. Taihan Electric Wire holds a 71% stake in the entity, which managed the asset before the sale.

Strategic Shift Toward Core Business

Taihan Electric Wire continues to streamline its portfolio. The company plans to divest additional noncore assets and reinvest in its electric wire and cable operations.

This strategy will help the company improve operational efficiency and strengthen its position in the global wire market. By focusing on its core business, Taihan aims to drive sustainable growth and increase long-term profitability.
