Madem Group expects new plant to start up in April

Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA Launches Advanced Manufacturing Plant in North Carolina

Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA, Inc. plans to begin production at its new manufacturing plant in Tarboro, North Carolina in April. The facility marks a major step in expanding the company’s U.S. manufacturing capabilities.

Modern Facility Built for Industry 4.0

Madem Group will operate this site as its fourth global facility and its most advanced to date. The company designed the plant with Industry 4.0 technology, enabling smarter and more efficient production.

The Madem Machinery Division (https://www.madem.com) in Brazil developed and built the production lines. These fully automated systems use internet-connected sensors to detect issues in real time and improve operational efficiency.

According to company leadership, the system allows faster line changeovers and reduces labor requirements by 40%. The plant also features an automatic inkjet system that applies custom designs and colors to products.

Expansion Plans Across the United States

Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA plans to strengthen its U.S. footprint beyond manufacturing. The company will establish assembly facilities and distribution warehouses across the country to support growing demand.

This expansion will improve logistics efficiency and enhance service for customers nationwide.

Global Reach and Industry Impact

Madem Group (https://www.madem.com) currently supplies more than 120 cable manufacturers across 40 countries. The new North Carolina plant will play a key role in supporting global operations while increasing domestic production capacity.

Company leaders expect the facility to boost output, streamline operations, and reinforce Madem’s position in the cable reel manufacturing industry.
