Wire Expo 2026 in Milwaukee Poised to Build on Strong 2024 Momentum

WAI News
Wire Expo 2026 in Milwaukee is shaping up as a premier event for the wire and cable industry, with strong exhibitor demand, nearly 200 participating companies, and co-location with EWPTE at the Baird Center. The show will combine exhibits, education, and high-value networking opportunities.

Wire Expo 2026 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin continues to build strong momentum. In fact, the event may surpass the success of the 2024 show held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. Early interest from exhibitors and attendees already signals a must-attend event for wire and cable manufacturers, suppliers, and technology providers.

While the educational program remains a key highlight, Wire Expo also strengthens its role as a leading networking and business development event. As a result, the combination of exhibits, technical sessions, and face-to-face interaction creates a central hub for the wire and cable supply chain.

Strong Exhibitor Demand and Industry Growth

The Wire Association International (https://wirenet.org) continues to see strong demand for exhibit space.

According to Shannon Timme, Director of Sales at WAI, the event will feature about 200 companies across more than 160 booths. Notably, 10% of exhibitors will attend for the first time, which reflects continued industry growth.

At the same time, booth space continues to fill quickly. Currently, only a limited number of spaces remain, and WAI assigns them on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, companies should act early to secure their spot.

Baird Center Enables Co-Located Industry Events

The Baird Center in Milwaukee offers a key advantage for 2026. Specifically, the venue allows Wire Expo to run alongside the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE).

Because of this co-location, attendees can explore both events in one place. In turn, this creates a more complete and efficient experience across wire, cable, and processing technologies. Learn more about EWPTE at https://www.electricalwireshow.com.

Shared Schedule and Networking Opportunities

Wire Expo 2026 and EWPTE will follow the same event schedule:

  • Wednesday, May 6: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 7: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

In addition, the Wire Expo Opening Reception will take place on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the 4th Floor Ballroom Terrace. During this time, attendees can enjoy refreshments, take in skyline views, and build valuable industry connections.

Why Attend Wire Expo 2026

Overall, Wire Expo 2026 combines strong exhibitor demand, a modern venue, and a co-located format. Because of these factors, the event stands out as a must-attend industry gathering.
