The Wire Association International (WAI) will co-locate Wire Expo 2026 with the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE) on May 6–7, 2026. The event will take place at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Learn more at https://www.wirenet.org/ and https://www.electronics.org/.
Expanding Opportunities Across the Industry
By bringing both events together, WAI creates new opportunities for industry collaboration. Attendees can explore the entire wire and cable value chain in one location.
Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and end-users will connect more easily. In addition, they can discover new technologies, build strategic partnerships, and gain insights that support industry growth.
A Strategic Return to a Proven Venue
Wire Expo and EWPTE previously co-located in 2010 at the venue now known as the Baird Center (https://www.bairdcenter.com/). This return comes at a time of rapid technological advancement and market expansion.
As a result, the 2026 event will serve as a key platform for innovation, discovery, and collaboration.
Industry Leaders Highlight Event Value
WAI First Vice President David Fisher emphasized the importance of the co-location. He noted that the event allows attendees to explore both upstream manufacturing and downstream applications in one setting.
Similarly, David Bergman, VP of International Relations at the Global Electronics Association and Executive Director of WHMA (https://www.whma.org/), highlighted the benefits. He explained that the combined event will help attendees collaborate, build new connections, and learn from industry experts.
Strong Attendance and Global Reach
EWPTE consistently attracts strong participation. The event draws nearly 200 exhibitors and more than 3,000 attendees from over 40 U.S. states and 25 countries.
The Wiring Harness Manufacturer’s Association (WHMA), established in 1993, continues to represent the wire harness manufacturing industry and plays a key role in the event’s success.
